Letter from Mavis Mate, in typescript, single page, dated 20 November 1967, thanking IS for offering to purchase extra copies of her article for circulation in England and asking him to send a copy to Miss Barbara Harvey, Somerville College, Oxford. She says that has now completed the first draft of her book and refers to enclosures of the last two chapters and offprints of her recent Speculum article, which she would be happy for IS to distribute. She asks IS whether he has any comments on the earlier chapters that she sent, noting that Miss Harvey has already commented upon the manuscript. She further notes that she is planning to visit England for six weeks in the summer.
