Letter from Martin Allen, in typescript, single page, dated 25 October 2000, asking IS for photographs of his "other coins not listed in the thesis", or else an opportunity to borrow the coins. He comments upon "Lawrence's [unsatisfactory] arrangement of the post-1351 coinages of Edward III" and informs IS about the discovery of a mid fourteenth-century hoard in Cambridge consisting in some 1800 sterlings "to Fox XVI" with nine gold coins added a few years later. He also asks for an explanation XVIb in IS's list of Durham coins.
