Scope and content

Letter from Mark Blackburn to Simon and Julia Blunt, typescript (photocopy), three pages on three folios (recto only) plus compliment slip, dated 22 May 1997, summarising the contents of Christopher Blunt's archive as follows:
(1) Correspondence and other numismatic papers,
(2) Numismatic books, periodicals and English auction catalogues,
(3) Archaeological and historical periodicals,
(4) Foreign numismatic sales catalogues,
(5) Other people's numismatic offprints,
(6) Slides and other papers,
(7) Miscellaneous material.
MASB discusses the practicalities of depositing the archive temporarily at the Fitzwilliam and perhaps eventually arranging to make the deposit permanent. He also discusses the practicalities of organising the archive and refers to things that remain to be done before the main body of CEB's library is dispersed, namely going through the books to see if any have CEB's annotations.
This is the copy that was CC-ed to Ian Stewart.
