Scope and content
Letter from Lord Camden to William French, written from Wildernesse Park. Thanks from Lady Camden and himself for French's kind invitation to Cambridge. He is happy to give the medal in any way thought most useful to those who are more qualified than himself to give an opinion. For Latin. He found Latin useful both at Oxford and Eton. However, Camden suggest he might make an annual payment for the prize, rather than necessarily a presentation of the medal. Gives best wishes to French for the coming New Year.
