Scope and content

Letter from Kenaz Tasker, in manuscript, single page, dated from Prestwich (Manchester) on 8 March 1975, excusing his late reply on account of illness in the family. KT provides information and photographs of the coins in which IS is interested from plates 19 & 35, asking for the return of the photographs when IS has finished with them. The coins, eight in all, are described by mint, moneyer and inscriptions, with their respective prices based a recent Glendining sale. The attachments consist in photocopies of the plates. Plate 19 reproduces the plate of the same number in the sales catalogue described as attachment (e) in the record of KT's letter of 1974 (JCPP/Stewartby/1/1/TASKER/1974/1); this is the last plate in this catalogue and the source of plate 35 is unclear.
The attachments to the current record are as follows:
(a) photocopy of plate 19, obverse & reverse.
(b) photocopy of plate 35, obverse & reverse.
