Letter from Jeffrey North, in manuscript, single page, dated 13 November 2000, providing cover for three enclosures and acknowledging that the Aquitaine sterlings were probably struck under Edward III rather than Edward I. The first two enclosures are attached; the third is filed separately. They include:
(a) photocopies of the pages relating to the Aquitaine sterlings from the book of Duncan Elias.
(b) photocopy of the page from his own Edward booklet where he tried to attribute the Aquitaine sterlings to Edward I.
(c) letter from John Brand on the ¾-facing sterlings of Aquitaine, dated 22 February 1978 (see JCPP/Stewartby/1/3/BRAND-NORTH/1978/1).
