Letter from Heinrich Ihl, in typescript, single page, dated 19 December 1998, stating that he received some time earlier a photocopy of a paper by J. J. North entitled "Some imitations and forgeries of the English and Irish long-cross pence of Henry III", but that the copy did not include the plates. He therefore asks where he can purchase the original. He informs IS that a LONDE CIVITS sterling has recently turned up near Schlangen/Teutoburger Wald, 30km from Lemgo. It has the same typology as no. 86 in the Numismatic Chronicle 1995 but is not from the same dies.
