Letter from Glenn Gittoes, in typescript, explaining that his collection [of short-cross pennies] contains rather few imitations, but he refers to an attached list, no longer present, with details of fourteen short-cross imitations and one irregular coin in his collection. GG offers to leave the coins at Baldwin's so that IS made borrow them and/or have casts made. He further notes examples of Westphalian issues of the short-cross type in his collection, one of Bishop Conrad I of Osnabrück and another of Bishop Ludolf of Münster. Finally, he mentions two "regular" short-cross coins in his collection that are sometimes regarded as imitations, both of the London moneyers Fulke and Henri from the same obverse die. GG describes them as "early transitional issues of 5a with class 4 lettering referred to as 5a1.
