A letter from G. Tully Vaughn in Andover, Massachusetts, to Percy reminiscing on his time as number 5 man on the Kent School Crew. He recalls when Percy gave the crew council and confidence to ease their anxiety at the Henley Royal Regatta in 1950, and gave him personal assurance when unable to row due to a severe cold. He closes the letter by offering his thanks for having the privilege of his friendship.
