Scope and content

Letter from David Miller, in typescript, single page, dated 31 October 1975, confirming that he is willing to sell the gold thrymsa to IS for £570. It was found at Weymouth, as reported to the British Museum; the exact spot of the find remains undisclosed, but DMM confirms that it was found on the sea-shore. He also advises that he has a number visigothic specimens and is interested in acquiring further specimens, especially those with royal monograms or of later later emperors than Anastasius.
