Scope and content
Letter from Christopher Blunt, in manuscript, dated 14 January 1956, thanking IS for his two works for the BNJ and for saying that he would leave two of his coins at the BM for casting. CEB comments upon two new acquisitions of IS, one of which – a cross moline type of Coenwulf – he describes as one of his less rare types. He also discusses the most plentiful type, providing a drawing and a list of the four he has noted and stating that IS's coin – presumably his other acquisition – represents another one. He then discusses the problem of insuring his coins and his practice of maintaining a card file in a separate place.
