Letter from Chris Wren, in typescript, single page, dated 16 December 1992, thanking IS for his letter of 4 December and for the "1208" offprint and consenting to an exchange of coins. He agrees that Canterbury suspended issues between classes Vc and VIb, and that the suspension ties in "quite nicely with the interdict of 1208 and subsequent agreement between John and Innocent III in 1213. He discusses what the evidence for die ratios between London and Canterbury in class Vc lends to the argument but acknowledges that he does not have this kind of information for class VIb. In closing, he explains that he plans to produce booklets similar to the one on short-cross coins for the voided long-cross coins of Henry III and Edward I and for the long-cross coins of Edward I to Henry VII.
