Letter from Chris Wren, in typescript, single page, dated 16 July 1992, thanking IS for his letter and offprints, but writing mainly to brings a particular kind of short-cross imitation to the attention of IS. The coin in question had been found by a local detectorist near Deal. He discusses specific features of the class V coinage that are sometimes regarded as indicative of imitations but expresses doubts and says that it would be very useful to see IS's Canterbury coins at some point.
