Comprises correspondence between members of the Salk Institute (Bronowski, Jonas Salk, Augustus Kinzel, John Zane and Fellows), and with Warren Weaver (Chairman of Salk Institute Trustees), Burton Benjamin (Executive Producer, 'The Twentieth Century', CBS News) and others working on 'The Twentieth Century' television programme, about a planned episode of 'The Twentieth Century' about the Salk Institute.

Also includes copies of a letter from Bronowski to Michael Burke (CBS) about a proposed Center for Humane Studies at the Salk Institute. The Center was to be a memorial for Ed Murrow and [CBS were considering funding the Center].

Additionally includes an IBM magnabelt (dictated audio recording) in an envelope labelled "letter to Kinzel (copies Salk, Morrow, Naparstek) & first part of letter to Michael Burke, CBS".

Correspondence includes letters from Salvador E. Luria to Bronowski and Harry Boardman expressing his concern that the Council was being used as a "tool of the Commission on Marijuana".

Also includes a press cutting about corruption in the United States.

Ceramic Building Materials

A total of four glazed floor tile fragments were recovered from stratified
contexts at the site. All four are late Medieval/early post-Medieval in date,
and are composed of a similar coarse red earthenware fabric. They comprise 015, 015, and 016.

No significant fragments were recovered from unstratified contexts.
