The deed is dated 28 February 1829, there are two preliminary notes from Nevile Day, and one from John Warren, about the exact terms etc.

We were in course favoured with your letter and agreeably to your directions we have invested £11 1s 9d in Consols this day in the name of the College which purchased £12 15s 7d of stock. The value of £200 invested in Consols at the opening price of In_ry last would have been equivalent to £232.18 stock to the dio. in which has not been invested and we have now added at to the former sum of £9105 18s 7d so that the accruing dividends with be on £9338.16.7 and on £752.1.6. We have applied to the Chancery Office respecting the div. alluded to, and previously to procuring a Power they require the "Order of Court" which we should suppose is in the hands of the solicitor in the Courts.

Hon. Harold Wilson MP (17 May 1957).

The photocopy of the transcript of 'Time of My Life' was in a folder annotated "replacement from Timothy Sandefur, 2008".

This volume was worked from both ends. At the (original) front are copies of deeds and other college documents in a variety of 17C and 18C hands. The (original) back was then used by Lynford Caryl for his catalogue of nunnery and college archives [a draft of which appears in JCHR/3/3/GEN/1]. The volume is now bound as though the latter were at the front
