A postcard sent from Cannes, France, from Tom Langton to Percy at 16 New Square, Cambridge.

Transcript
Just finished racing on sea. Paddled three quarters of the way 5 lengths ahead. They got in two strokes before the 'go'. Don't know how eight men manage to move a boat so slowly!!!! Had long talk with some keen Frenchmen about Orthodoxy and Fairbairnism. So expect to be in for some correspondence in the future[?] as they seemed pretty keen. This has been just one terrific party. Love to Derek & Mrs B. See you in a week's time. TOM LANGTON
