A black and white photograph of the first eight crew on the river in Zurich. The picture is annotated in blue ink including a title that reads 'Zurich July 1937'. Each crew member has signed their name against their picture including:

Brian Coulton, Dick Coulton, David Fairbairn, Dick Corbert Ward, Alan Burrough, Ian Langton, Evan Williams, Bill Milne, Jack Mossop, Norman Elliott, Arthur[?]

The first eight crew flew into Zurich to take part in an international regatta. On the first day they finished second in an event that was won by F. C. S. Ruderklub of Zurich. They won on the second day in an event where the Mannheim club finished second.
