Part of Personal Papers

A letter from Fred Schoch, on Kent School letter head paper, to Percy, introducing himself as the rookie sophomore in the 1967 crew and the stroke for 1968. He acknowledges that Percy has announced his retirement and that a better boatman will never be found. He recalls his memories of Percy and thanks him for always giving them a lift and feeling at ease in a new environment. He closes the letter by expressing that he will be missed.
