Cameron (Bursar of Gonville and Caius College) stating the following: 'I understand that the Parish Council of Shelford have been consulting the Ministry of Health about the purchase of land on the Trumpington Road which adjoins your property (I think) and ours: they want to make a cemetery. They are to make some proposal to us, and I write to ask if you would be disposed to tell me if they have consulted or approached you as well. I shall not misunderstand, of course, if you prefer to say nothing about the matter, but I shall be grateful if you see your way to answering my enquiry. The proposal seems to concern both Colleges to some extent.' J.F. Cameron has hand-written his reply at the bottom stating 'No one has approached me about this: Your letter is my first information. If I hear anything I shall let you know' dated 28/2/26
