Paid £10 7d to John Smith for surveying Horne Court over the course of a week in November during which he drew columns, numbered the acres of land, took field names, counted juniper trees, and made a map. Includes expenses for coach and coachman, supper and liquor, a bed, chamberlain boots and guide boy, breakfast, guides, horses, servants, as well as for his time.
