Letter from James Kidd [old catalogue says 'letters' in plural - where are the rest?]

Also a plan relating to the widening of Trinity Street, and the compulsory acquisition of part of the church yard of All Saints. Removed to the plan chest.

Bill for building work done to college houses. Addressed to Jesus College by James Kidd, builder. Bill totals £1 13s 8d. Includes payment for fixing new joints to shutter and easing shutters at Mrs. James on Manor Street estate. Also includes payment for repairing doors, door frames, shutters and fence at Mirrells[?] and next house: payment for deal, joints, bolts, T joints, screws, nails and iron to secure post to fence. Also includes payment for fixing the new pump casing. Signed by A. Kidd, presumably on behalf of J. Kidd and dated 28th November 1864. R. R. has initialled bill and noted that it is the College account.

Payment of £26 1s to James Kidd for work done to college properties. Includes payments for new door frame at the Garden on Jesus Lane (tenant Walkers), new fence at the Estate on Newmarket road (tenant Mrs Bailey) and repairing joist and floor art Manor Court (tenant Munall). Signed by James Kidd, and approved by R. Rowe.
