Roosters Lampshade

Lampshade decorated with the title 'The Roosters, breakfast at lunchtime, hangover Sunday, 12 June 1960'. Signed by, presumably, members of the Roosters and female guests.

Box of mathematical instruments, formerly the property of Roger North and given to the College on his death in 1734. Also includes printed list of instruments in box, probably once used when instruments were included in an exhibition.

Plaster Cast Medallions

Four deep picture frames containing numerous plaster cast medallions showing classical images, scenes and figures. Each medallion appears to be numbered, the numbers, presumably, once relating to a list. Historic photographs suggest that at one time these hung in the SCR.

Muniment Room Keys

Bunches of keys in box stating 'from muniment room desk'. Labels on bunches of keys indicate they were used to open metal boxes used to store documents. Makers of keys include Hobbs & Co London, Yale and Belfry Brand.

Probably left in the wall at the time the stairs and entrance to hall were created in 1962

Metal Plaques

Two plaques awarded for the construction of the Quincentenary Library. The first is the Royal Institute of British Architects regional architecture award, 1996; the second is the David Urwin Design Award 1997 sponsored by Cambridge City Council, Cambridge Evening News and Rattee and Kett.
