        History

        Henri Gagnebin (1886-1977) was a Swiss composer and organist. Between 1925 and 1957, Gagnebin served as Director of the Geneva Conservatoire, and in 1938, he established the Geneva International Competition for Musical Performance which acquired a prestigious reputation across the world. He is known for his choral and organ compositions.
