Correspondents include: Professor James Edmonds (Department of Physics, California State University, San Diego) on the ideas in Edmonds' papers entitled 'The Preferred frame is alive and well and living in the three degree background radiation' and 'Can a world without infinity be compatible with the real number?' (both dated Jan 1974 and included); Dr Joel Elkes (Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, The John Hopkins University School of Medicine, Baltimore, Maryland) on a paper by Robert Burress (who Bronowski referred to Elkes) on 'The Origins of Creativity'; Mary Ellidge on subjects including family news and Jacob and Rita Bronowski arranging to visit her in Lima, Peru, when filming in Cuzco for 'The Ascent of Man'; Dr William Emerson (National Endowment for the Humanities, Washington) relating to Bronowski reviewing grant applications, includes copies of evaluation sheets and a proposal by Martin Goldstein (Yeshiva University, New York) for a study into 'The current state of the "Two Cultures" problem' (Feb 1971); and Professor William Etkin (Professor of Anatomy, Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Yeshiva University, New York) on shared academic interests relating to evolution, language and behaviour.

Also includes a copy of a poem 'Cry from the Valley' by Miklos P Emhecht with a photograph of the author.
