        History

        Robert Ogilvy Crawford was born at Bedford in 1870 and attended school in Monkton Combe and Cholmeley, Highgate. He came up to Jesus College in 1888 and received a B. A. in 1891 and an M. A. in 1896. He became a Schoolmaster at Epsom College for seven years; Assistant Headmaster at Highgate School for six years; and joint Headmaster of St Peter's School in Weston-Super-Mare in 1905. He died in 1916.
