Comprises: letters of application or draft applications and letters from referees for a Fellowship and Tutorship in Mathematics at Jesus College Oxford, Chair of Mathematics at Queen Mary College in the University of London (1948), and Readership in Statistics at the University of Leeds (1946); a typescript of Bronowski's paper 'The Base for Algebraic Curves on an Algebraic Surface' with a letter from the 'Annals of Mathematics' declining to publish it; a typescript of Bronowski's paper 'On Cubic Primals With Many Nodes' with a receipt from the Claredon Press Oxford (1947); correspondence with L Roth (Imperial College of Science) on mathematical matters; letters to [John] Todd on Todd's comments on Bronowski's paper 'Curves whose grade is not positive in the theory of the base'; and a letter from G H Hardy (Trinity College, Cambridge) on a paper by Bronowski.
