College wine accounts, 1843. Gives basic plan of the wine cellar alongside a note saying that the account was drawn out on 3rd March 1843. Volumes of port given in bins 3, 5, 6 and 8 are conjectural whilst other quantities are accurate. Includes wines from Dr. Proctor, Dr. Chafy, Messrs Morgan (through the late Professor Woodhouse), Quarlls (?) Harris, Challie and Richards, Sherer Waugh & Co, Dr. Haviland, Barnes, Mr. Thornhill, Sir William Gordon & Co - the sherry from which French brought from Pembroke and was reputedly secreted from Cadiz once the French army had taken the city, Mr Brackenbury consul at Cadiz, Mr. Standly, Mr. Blick of St. John's College, M.
