Consists of carbon copies of letters sent by Bronowski, Sylvia Fitzgerald (Editorial Associate to Bronowski and Secretary for Science Horizons Inc.) and Kathleen Verlander (Secretary to Bronowski).
Subjects include: the Renaissance symposium celebrating the 500th anniversary of Copernicus' birth, jointly sponsored by the Salk Institute and the University of California at San Diego; 'The Ascent of Man' book; 'The Ascent of Man' articles to be published in 'The Listener' BBC magazine; cancelling engagements due to illness; publications by Bronowski; and Salvador Luria giving books to the Szilard Collection at the Salk Institute.
Also includes photocopies of handwritten letters from Bronowski to Virginia White, Professor Niko Tinbergen, Ann Kaplan, Julie Lawson, Sir Michael Swann (Chairman, BBC), Jerome Wiesner, Nest Cleverdon and others, mainly about Bronowski's illness and 'The Ascent of Man'.
