Consists of carbon copies of letters sent by Bronowski and Sylvia Hodgson (Secretary to Bronowski). Subjects include: an invitation to write a book in a series entitled 'Twentieth Century Studies'; invitations to review a book, take part in a seminar series, give the Silliman Memorial lectures for 1967, and for other speaking engagements; publications by Bronowski; inviting Dr Brian Gluss of the Rand Corporation (Santa Monica, California) to visit the Salk Institute for discussions with Fellows; purchasing books for the Salk Institute library; a proposed Canadian Broadcasting Corporation television programme to feature the Salk Institute; research projects being undertaken by Cox, Langford and Brown (centred around technology and computing); and Bronowski's support for San Diego Board of Education programmes for gifted children.
