Consists of carbon copies of letters sent by Bronowski and Sylvia Hodgson (Secretary to Bronowski). Subjects include: publications by Bronowski, including proposals for foreign editions; historical records of colour blindness; invitations for Bronowski to give lectures, address a conference, attend a meeting and take part in a symposium; Bronowski having visited the National Coal Board (United Kingdom) to give advice [during Jun 1965] and the resulting report on 'Use of By-Products from the Char Process'; a quote by William Blake (letter to Sir Geoffrey Keynes); Bronowski writing a letter of introduction for a student to Lord Bowden; Bronowski's plans to visit the University of Minnesota (in May 1966); Bronowski having met Karl Popper in London (Jun 1965) and inviting Karl Popper to visit the Salk Institute; the San Diego Board of Education's programme for very gifted children; the Van Leer Foundation for the Advancement of Human Culture (Israel); Roman Jakobson's plans to visit the Salk Institute as a Visiting Fellow; and Bronowski supporting the election of Professor Norman Cohn to the Athenaeum Club (London).
