Consists of carbon copies of letters sent by Bronowski, Sylvia Fitzgerald (Editorial Associate to Bronowski and Secretary for Science Horizons Inc.) and Kathleen Verlander (Secretary to Bronowski).

Subjects include: work on 'The Ascent of Man' book including compiling lists of locations, quotations and illustrations; other publications by Bronowski; comments on 'Methods of Discovery and Communications in the Writings of Francis Bacon' by Lisa Jardine (letter to Lisa); invitations for speaking engagements; plans for Bronowski to deliver a lecture on Copernicus at the Smithsonian Institution (Washington D C); and plans for Bronowski to visit Carleton College (Minnesota) in February.

Includes a carbon copy of a letter to Leo Baron (Bronowski's brother) on having missed him whilst filming for 'The Ascent of Man' in Zambia, on Adrian Malone possibly visiting Zambia for a different project and the Bronowski's possibly travelling to Africa in 1974.

Also includes: a photocopy of a letter to Nicole [Plett, Bronowski's daughter] from Sylvia about a book on accounting; and a carbon copy of a letter from Salvador E.
