Subjects include: research and other preparatory work for 'The Ascent of Man'; publications by Bronowski; invitations for speaking engagements; the Council for Biology in Human Affairs at the Salk Institute; Bronowski recommending Roy Ascott for the post of Chair of Fine Art in the University of Reading (United Kingdom); and recollections of Donald McCullough on 'Brains Trust' radio/television programme.

Also includes photocopies of handwritten letters from Bronowski to Adrian Malone (BBC) relating to 'The Ascent of Man', and to Craig Noel (Old Globe Theatre, San Diego) about a production of 'The Face of Violence'.
