Subjects include: work for 'The Ascent of Man' book, programme 6 of the television series, and payments for the series; plans for launching 'The Ascent of Man'; the Christmas concert at the Salk Institute; a planned symposium to celebrate the 500th anniversary of Copernicus' birth sponsored by the Joint Committee on Renaissance Studies of the Salk Institute and the University of California, San Diego (May); publications by Bronowski; and discussion of an academic debate around inheritance and IQ (letter to David Layzer, Department of Astronomy, Harvard University).
