Consists of carbon copies of letters sent by Bronowski and Sylvia Hodgson (Editorial Assistant to Bronowski). Subjects include: invitations for speaking engagements; publications by Bronowski; letters of reference and recommendation for Dr Donald Bremner Urquhart, Jean Davis, and Professor Herbert Marcuse; arrangements for Bronowski and Lisa Bronowski to visit Cambridge and Boston (Massachusetts, United States) together; Bronowski asking for recommendations of writings by Umberto Eco; arrangements for Bronowski to visit the United States Air Force Academy (Colorado) and deliver two lectures on 'Science and the Future' (Jan 1967); arrangements for Bronowski to deliver the Condon lectures in Oregon; Karl Popper delivering a seminar on 'Fighting against fashions in the Sciences' at the Salk Institute; Irving Bengelsdorf (Times Science Editor, Los Angeles Times) visiting the Salk Institute to meet Karl Popper; and Bronowski's property in London (1 The Hexagon).

Also includes photocopies of handwritten letters from Bronowski: to Dr John Everett (President, New School for Social Research) thanking Everett for putting Bronowski in touch with Chester Bowles in India; to Indira Ghandi, reflecting on Bronowski's visit to India and meeting her; and to Professor Jonathan Singer (University of California at San Diego) praising Paul Saltman [a letter of recommendation].

Additionally includes copies of letters from Salvador E Luria reviewing scientific papers, and a copy of a letter from Karl Popper to Sir Peter Medawar (Director, National Institute for Medical Research) answering Medawar's criticism of a paper by Popper.
