Consists of carbon copies of letters sent by Bronowski, Sylvia Hodgson (Editorial Associate to Bronowski) and Kathleen Murray (Secretary to Bronowski).

Subjects include: invitations for speaking engagements; the 1969 Renaissance symposium (jointly sponsored by the Salk Institute and the University of California at San Diego); lectures and publications by Bronowski, including audio tapes of lectures that had been broadcast; inviting Francis Rawdon Smith to work with the Salk Institute on "artificial intelligence" (relating to computers and the brain); the Archive of Contemporary Biology at the Salk Institute; an article by Professor G Broccolini; and Bronowski's reflections on a paper by Per Dalen (Psychiatric Research Centre, Goteberg University, Sweden) on 'Month of Birth and Schizophrenia'.
