Scope and content

Letter from R. A. Broune to Mr. Thomas Dickes, written from Chesterton. Writes to say that on his arrival at Chesterton the night before he found a letter with a black wax seal on it from Joseph Lamb telling him that their mutual friend John Bowes Wright had died. Asks if Dickes could let the Master know of this (and is possibly how the letter came into the possession of the Master). Broune also mentions how he had also seen Fisher at the University Club who had asked how Wright was.
