The flyleaf has a note: "Price of this book 5s. 6d. Guglielmus Lewis." and a memorandum in the hand of Dr Saywell, 1684, about the cost of "wainscotting the East end of the Chapel", paid for by Saywell as Master and by the President, Dr Cooke.
