      Note

It is unclear if this should be catalogued under 31 or 32 Jesus Lane as the tenements don't correspond to the modern houses. The area covered by the lease is described as follows "All that messuage or tenement yard and garden plot thereunto belonging and adjoining together with the buildings shops chambers and other the appurtenances to the same belonging then in occupation of William Dearle, Farrier, situate lying and being in the parish of All Hallows and abutting upon Jesus Lane on the south and upon the Great Close belonging to the said college commonly called Jesus Close towards the north lying between a certain messuage or tenement belonging to the said College late in the occupation of Eleanor Higgins the younger on the east and the messuage or tenement also belonging to the said College late in the occupation of Morgan widow on the west"
