Correspondents are: Hyta Tilson asking Bronowski to speak at a symposium on 'Man, Space and the Universe - Aimless Matter or Divine Plan?' [at San Diego Town Hall] (1969); San Dieguito Family Service Association inviting Bronowski to be the guest speaker at the Association's annual dinner meeting (1965); The Saturday Review asking Bronowski to review 'The Sea Change. Migration of Social Thought' by J Stewart Hughes (1974); The Sciences (published by the New York Academy of Sciences) asking Bronowski to contribute, for an article, his thoughts on what single alteration he would make to the human body; John B Calhoun asking Bronowski to join a Science Affairs Council (1965) with a list of others invited to join and memos to members of the Council from January 1965; Science Research Associates, Inc. asking Bronowski to write an article on the brain and mind for a book of selected readings for use in a laboratory biology programme to be developed for 10th grade students (1966), with a paper about the programme and draft lists of topics to be included; Maurice Goldsmith (director of Science of Science Foundation Ltd) inviting Bronowski to give the 1st Herbert Read Memorial Lecture (1969); Scientific Committee on Oceanic Research of the International Council of Scientific Unions inviting Bronowski to a dinner in honour of the Committee (1968); and Le Service de L'Almanach (Paris) inviting Bronowski to contribute to the almanach (1971).
