Correspondents are: Rand McNally publishers asking Bronowski to write an introduction to an atlas; The Rank Prize Funds inviting Bronowski to contribute a paper on the Sociology of Bread for an international symposium on bread (1974) with a provisional programme and hotel details for the symposium, as well as an extract from the trust deed of the Rank Prize Funds; The Rationalist Press Association Limited asking Bronowski to write a foreword for a book on science fiction; Recontres Créatives Internationales - International Creative Center/ Recontres Culturelles Internationales - International Culture Center inviting Bronowski to participate in a television programme on 'The House and the Town of Future' (1974, no reply), to attend a conference in Switzerland on 'Shaping the Future' (1969) at the recommendation of Henryk Skolimowski, to participate in a congress on 'Peering into the Future' in Italy (1969), and to give a lecture for the Center's festival of 'Synthesis for the Arts and Sciences' in Italy (1968); Recontre Orient-Occident (Geneva, Switzerland) asking Bronowski to contribute to [their journal]; Royal Academy of Arts inviting Bronowski to their annual dinner (1974); Royal Microscopical Society inviting Bronowski to open an exhibition and conference on microscopy (1974): Royal Scottish Museum (Edinburgh) inviting Bronowski to lecture at the Museum (1974-75); Royal Society of Arts inviting Bronowski to give the 1st Chester Beatty Lecture (1969) with a booklet on the Society and a page of information for lecturers; The Royal Society of Literature inviting Bronowski to an awards ceremony (1967); and Rutgers University Press asking for Bronowski's opinion of an unpublished book called 'Truth in the Sciences' by Scott Buchanan.

Also includes a letter from Random House publishers on sending Bronowski copies of books on Geoffrey Summerfield's request, annotated with "not yet received"; and a letter from Trevor Russell-Cobb of Russell-Cobb Limited (Public Relations Consultants) on plans for dinner, annotated as relevant to the Royal Society of Arts.
