A letter from Nicholas Farwell in San Mateo, California, to Percy, expressing his regret to hear that he is retiring from the Henley Royal Regatta. He thanks him for his enthusiasm, experience, and direction for the 1966 Kent Crew at Henley in 1966. He closes the letter by wishing him the best future and happiness.
Also includes a small colour photograph depicting Percy and his wife with Kent School students being presented with a book.
A letter from Stephen P. Hamilton to Percy sharing his memories of Henley and explains that he was a spare in Kent's Princess Elizabeth Eight in 1966. He did not get to row that year but made many memories and came back in 1969 as stroke of the Trinity College, Hartford Eight in the Ladies Plate. He expresses his thoughts on Percy being the living part of the Henley experience, and that men like him keep the tradition and legend alive. He tells him he has lost contact with most of the other members, except Leigh Faldi and Frank bates, and that he has heard rumours that 'Henley may not survive as the one truly international annual regatta'. He closes the letter by wishing him luck for the future.
A letter from Charles Mills in New York to Percy reminiscing about his fondest times as an oarsman and attending Henley. He tells him of the many photographs and slides he has of his visit to England, and in particular his later visit to Jesus College boathouse and Percy's home, where they rowed in singles and rode in his three wheeled car. He closes the letter expressing his regret that others will not get to meet Percy, and wishes him the best of luck in his retirement.

Percy helped us in 1950 when the School won the Thames Cup. Now, twenty-one years later, he steps aside, a friend to all of us. Luckily for me, in this year of our Lord 1971, my father, my son and I will be at Henley, cheering for the crews and honouring Percy Bullock, Boatman and Gentleman.

He also remembers celebrating at the Armistice Inn with Chris Barton and his Jesus College colleagues when winning in the Grand Challenge Cup.
