The group would include, in the first instance, and presumably in addition to the undersigned, Christopher Blunt, Nicholas Brooks, Philip Grierson, Henry Loyn, Gay van der Meer, Veronica Smart and Ian Stewart. The inaugural meeting was proposed for 11 May at Cheltenham during the National Numismatic Congress.
