The first three items are income tax receipts, for the tax years 1860-1 and 1861-2, for Gifford in the parish of Over, dated 13 March 1862 (£2 11d); 8 May 1861 (£2 3s 1d); and another for 1861, date unclear (£4 1s 9d). All signed by collector Joseph Gifford.-
Items four and five are land and assessed tax receipts addressed to Gifford, the first for the first moiety of 1861-2, dated 4 November 1861, for the sum of £6 11s 6d; the second for the second moiety of 1860-1, dated 8 May 1861, for the sum of £6 11s 6d. Both signed by Joseph Gifford, collector.
The sixth item is a receipt addressed to Gifford for the over drainage rate, dated 4 November 186, for the charge of £9 4s 4d. Signed by collector Robert Hall.
The seventh item is a receipt from the Sun Fire Office for £1 12s 9d, that being one year's premium and duty for the year Michaelmas 1861 to Michaelmas 1862 on the insurance of £600, for the Farm House and Homestead in Over. Signed by Henry Hazard and dated 25 December 1861.
The eighth item is a note adding up the charges in the rest of the bundle.

February 1859: Repair the fence next the Common, 30 10 inch nails, 30 tenter hooks, iron hooping, tar. Mans time.
March 8th: Fix a new part of fence adjoining the common with posts and nails. Nails, tenter hooks, spikes, tar, mans time.
Mend the fence in the masters close, deal, tar, nails, and mans time.
Work to new cistern of servants water closets, deal, nails.
August 17th: Prepare and fix new bearers for the cistern. Fix a new roof to above, take down seats for alteration of pipes and attend on the plumbers.
August 24th: work continued. Prepare and fix a top to and make a lid to enclose cistern. Cutting fallen tree and work to the close. Mend the wheel of barrow of the Fellows Garden. Shore up the tree in the 3rd (Third) Court for fixing irons to.

The College:
November 1858: Mend the Table in (Hall?) and fix the brackets on door. Mans time, nails, screws.
14th December 1858: Make and fix in a model for parts of the stove in the Hall for casting.
February 1859: Mend the combination room floor. Fix block in staircase for (?). Buttery 3ft () 5/7 deal for wine packing.
30th July: Mr Westmorlands. Repair the skylight frame, fix fixing to ceilings and repair boarding to the roof. Deal, nails, screws, mens time. Fix fastenings on the buttery door

Kitchen:
Repair plate ran, rehang cupboard door in larder, make and fix a foot board under the dresser.
