Contents include: Hopes to row in the Grand as 50 years since the team had won; suggestions for crew and training exercises; suggestions to get crews up on Saturday 6th October; unable to help Archie Nisbet with Varsity and advice for him to give it up; glad that Dublin coming for Head of the River race; "I thought Horace was a poet not a boatrace"; suggestion of coming up on 5th October for weekend.
